Peter's work has benefited both for-profit and non-profit organizations, ranging in size from $1 Million to $10 Billion in revenue.
Peter is an authorized facilitator for the Chief Executive Network, an organization with over 400 member executives representing companies ranging in size from $1 Million to $1 Billion, representing many industries.

In the fall of 2003, "Real Leadership Strategies that Work" was published. It is the flagship book in Insight Publishing's Executive Briefcase Series, and it contains a chapter written by Peter on the topic, "Selecting the Right People for the Right Work." Peter is writing a leadership book and Quintessence plans to publish it in the fall of 2005.

Peter was invited by Stevens Institute of Technology in NJ to teach a Leadership Seminar for the Spring 2003 semester. The seminar students are among the school's best and brightest upperclass men and ladies. Among the topics discussed are behavioral talent, goal achievement, attitude development, Maslow's Theory, communications and leadership styles. Texts included "First Break All the Rules", "Good to Great", "Maslow on Management" and "Fail-Safe Leadership" (see our catalog to order the Fail-Safe Leadership book).

Peter began his career as a command, control and communications engineer working with the US military. He was employed in various industries at the executive level, including securities investments, artificial intelligence and utilities. Since 2000 he has combined his professional experiences in engineering, sales, marketing, finance, process improvement, privatization, strategic planning, behavioral talent, and corporate leadership to become a corporate consultant, facilitator and executive coach. Peter specializes in delivering Execution Leadership™ processes to realize self-motivation through attitude development, goal achievement and the discovery of individual leadership styles.
Peter has almost 20 years of executive management experience and 22 years of sales experience, in 7 different markets. He has 10 years of experience assessing behavioral talents in people and applying the results to improving company performance. Formerly, Peter was the Managing Director of a company that provides strategic management consulting, organizational assessment, business planning and financial analysis services to high-tech, emerging companies. Prior to that, Peter was president and CEO of WRc inc, a global provider of specialist engineering, scientific, and management consulting services. There, he pioneered WRc's management consulting and business improvement practice and he oversaw the start-up and growth of WRc's interactive multimedia training business.

Peter graduated with honors from the well-regarded Stevens Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Engineering degree. There, he was awarded the Humanities Department Award as the top graduating senior in that field of study. He later earned an MS degree from Syracuse University and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, with a concentration in Organizational Behavior.

Personal

Peter is an Eagle Scout and he enjoys developing leadership in local youth. He is active in Boy Scouts, where he is the Advancement Chairman for his local troop, Troop 230. Peter teaches religious education and he is the spiritual advisor for his church high school youth group.
Together with his wife, Claudia, he earned a black belt in Shotokan Karate, a sport that also involves their three children. Peter is a volunteer karate instructor for the Morrisville YMCA. The LaChances reside in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
